Ends, marking, testing and packing
Ends and bevels
Bevelled to ASME B16.25, normally 37.5° ± 2.5° with a 1.6 mm root face, or to your weld-end detail. Wall thickness matched to the pipe schedule.
Marking
Each fitting is marked with Teshi mark, grade, size, schedule, heat number and standard, traceable to its material certificate.

Finish and packing
Stainless and nickel alloys solution annealed, pickled and passivated. Carbon steel varnished or painted. Packed in wooden cases, seaworthy for export.

Raw material check
Mill certificates are checked against the purchase order, and heat numbers are logged when material arrives.
Traceable processing
Heat numbers carry through cutting, forging or forming, machining and welding, so every piece links back to its mill certificate.
Testing and inspection
Dimensional checks, PMI and the NDT your QAP calls for. Third-party inspection is arranged when you specify an agency.
Documents with dispatch
Material test certificates to EN 10204 3.1, or 3.2 when witnessed, with the inspection reports your contract asks for.

Do you manufacture butt-weld fittings?
Yes. Teshi Group manufactures ASME B16.9 elbows, tees, reducers, caps and stub ends at its own units in India, and supplies MSS SP-97 branch outlets with them.
What is the difference between seamless and welded fittings?
Seamless fittings are formed from seamless pipe and are normally used up to 24 inch. Larger sizes, and many thin-wall stainless sizes, are formed from plate and welded. A403 class WX means the welds are 100% radiographed.
What do the letters A, B, C, M, H and E mean?
They are ASME B16.9 dimension symbols: A and B are elbow centre-to-end, C and M tee centre-to-end, H reducer length, E cap height. See the labelled diagrams.
Can fittings be supplied with matching flanges and pipe?
Yes. Flanges come from Teshi Fittings and pipe from Teshi Pipes, on one order with one set of certificates. Send the full BOQ to info@teshigroup.com.
