Heat treatment and testing
Duplex fittings are solution annealed and quenched to get the right phase balance. Ferrite measurement and ASTM A923 tests for harmful phases are available on request.

Ends, marking, testing and packing
Ends and bevels
Bevelled to ASME B16.25, normally 37.5° ± 2.5° with a 1.6 mm root face, or to your weld-end detail. Wall thickness matched to the pipe schedule.
Marking
Each fitting is marked with Teshi mark, grade, size, schedule, heat number and standard, traceable to its material certificate.
Testing

Finish and packing

Why is phase balance important in duplex fittings?
Duplex steels rely on a roughly 50/50 ferrite-austenite structure. Poor heat treatment can create brittle phases that lower toughness and corrosion resistance, which is what A923 testing checks.
